Ammonia detector E2608-NH3-E is a member of new PluraSens® family of multifunctional measurement instruments.
The instrument is intended for leakage control in refrigeration facilities, warehouses etc. It is not recommended to use the detector in spaces with constantly high ammonia concentration such as cattle, pig and poultry livestock houses, since it shortens the sensor lifetime. For air quality control in agriculture see E2608-NH3-S.
The instrument utilises novel fully calibrated and linearized electrochemical gas sensor with excellent repeatability, stability and long lifetime.
Two relays with closing contact may be used for remote signalling or ventilation control. The default alarm set-points are typically set to 25 ppm and 35 ppm NH3.
Two analog outputs and RS485 digital interface with industry standard Modbus RTU protocol can be used to connect the detector to safety or building automation systems.
